How can I join your tournaments?

To join our tournaments, simply register on our website to stay updated on upcoming events and show up on Wednesday nights our doors open at 630pm registration starts at 645pm - 7pm on regular tournament nights rounds start at 7pm 

What is the rating system for your games?

Our games are rated using the USCF rating system, allowing players to track their progress and compete at their skill level.Members can look up there offical rating and status on the USCF website . As an affilate for the USCF the SPCC can create new memberships & provide renewals for out-dated memberships .Must be an offical member to play rated games .

EVENT TIME: 1015 -4pm & 415pm Award ceremony - onsite registration will be 915-10am

 

 "THE FEBRUARY 2026 WINTER QUAD CHESS TOURNAMENT" will be a 3-round CHESS TOURNAMENT

 

 

TIME CONTROL: G/45; d5 

 

 

ROUNDS: 1 - 1015-1145am - 2 - 12pm-130pm - BREAK - 3 - 230-4pm - 415pm Award Ceremony 

 

*Quad Pairings, the highest rated to lowest rated players, will be listed and broken into 4-player blocks – each player will only play in their Quad. (We may need to create a larger Quad if we have an uneven amount of players) *See the tournament schedule page of this website for more information about Quads.

 

ALL GAMES USCF RATED - PLAYERS MUST BE USCF RATED MEMBERS *NOTE- WE CAN PROVIDE NEW USCF MEMBERSHIPS ONSITE

*Players must understand chess notation - use a score sheet & write moves down.

IN THE TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE SECTION OF THE WEBSITE – THE LIST WILL BE UPDATED DAILY.

 

REGISTRATION FEE: 30$

 

We will offer a 5$ discount to players rated over 2000

 

200$ minimum prize fund based on 12 entries as we get more entries the prize will fund get larger.

 

*Prizes will be awarded to each Quad winner–with the higher rated quads receiving a higher percentage of the prize fund & beginner level runner up to receive a Trophy.

 

Paying cash during on-site registration (915am-10am) before the first round is strongly encouraged but if you need to Zelle

You must Zelle before FEBRUARY 28th, 2026, at 10am & I must receive the Zelle confirmation

on my phone before 10am or it will not be accepted, and you cannot play in the tournament .
